The Story
From an early age, Brad always enjoyed sketching/ technical drawing, and expressing his creative ideas. He received positive feedback during his academic years at High School which influenced him to pursue a career in Architectural Technology.

After graduating as an Architectural Technologist at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh – Brad moved on to work for CUBE RE:treat, a Main Contractor & Architecture firm based in Linlithgow, where he gained extensive knowledge working alongside the team. They specialised in new builds, house extensions, home improvements & bespoke garden rooms.

He then moved on to work for WD Blair Associates in Bathgate where he was able to gain experience in the non domestic sector working along side contractors specialising in fitting out of Pharmacies, Offices & Gyms. Brad also worked with West Lothian Council & WESLO to provide disabled adaption solutions for their tenants.

Brad left WD Blair to join JML Contracts in Auchterarder, where was able to gain knowledge in sustainable building materials & manage both small and large scale residential projects. He was able to use the skills gained from previous employers to be more efficient throughout his work. Brad also helped the civil side of the business in providing wall retention designs & tender drawings for telecom mast sites.

Since joining GLM in Edinburgh, Brad expanded his knowledge in Contract Administration which has helped deliver projects varying from £150k to £600k successfully. Whilst working alongside Architects and Building Surveyors, he has been able to develop further skills in working on historic buildings.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys Munro bagging, Mountain biking & travelling. Brad is also keen in landscape photography, happily spending hours trying to get that perfect shot!
